Guess what??? We got a phone call yesterday at 4:30pm saying that Craig got the job!!!!!
We are just beside ourselves and just cant thank you all enough for all the prayers!!
Craig has to go have a physical and strength test in a week and then he will go to Atlanta at the end of January early Feb for 3 weeks of training. Wow..this is such a blessing to us as it will also be a very big adjustment for our family with Craig traveling so much for the first few years. What a great new beginning to a brand new year!!! School's Out for Two weeks!!!
We decided one night that we were gonna have a school's out party..just the four of us! We cooked ribs on the grill, played basketball all night, and just spent some good quality time with each other since we haven't had a chance to do that since well uhmmm....August when school started back. We had way too much fun and ended the night with a campout under the Christmas tree!!

Job Update
Waiting, waiting is what we are doing now. Craig went in at 8am this morning and took a basic math and reading test with 31 other men interested in the job. Out of 31....11 were asked to come back to interview and Craig was one of them! He interviewed this afternoon at 3:15 and said that it went really, really good! Heard that they are actually hiring 5 men for the positions out of Atlanta, Alabama, and Thomasville ........Craig was the only one at the interview process from Thomasville and surrounding counties....sooo....it's looking really good but we are trying not to get too excited. We should hear in one to two weeks by phone if he's got the position so keep praying!!!! Thank you to all that have called or emailed about keeping us in your thoughts and prayers!!! We will keep you updated!!!!!

Need of Prayer
Just a little family update:
Please pray for Craig as he goes for an extensive interview process with a Company called CSX on Monday. CSX is a large railroad company that extends from Canada all the way to the keys North and South. He is interviewing for a job as a track operator which would require lots of travel and being away from home days at a time. This would be an awesome opportunity to get his foot in the door with this company and he is very excited and very nervous. The pay is well, the benefits are even better, but the security is what Craig is striving for.
On the other hand, our home has been on the market for a year now and we have an offer coming in over the weekend. We definitly need prayer for direction. If we do not have to sell by all means we dont want to...this home is a dream home to us and if Craig gets this job with CSX we will not have to sell.
God has been so awesome to us and has taught us patience and faith this past year as we have endured many financial hardships and now he has given us more blessings than we know what to do with all in the same week! I will def keep everyone updated!!
As far as the kids and I...we just finished our last day of school and we are off for two whole weeks!!! Whoo-hoo! I am def in need of some relaxation and good quality time with our family. I am still working steady with a church preschool 5 days a week and also running an after care program on Fridays which both have been going great. I have also been blessed this year to pick up more hours in the evenings and Sundays at the same church working the nursery so pretty much I am full time now a days running all directions so this little vacation is going to be wonderful! We all are planning a trip up to TN to visit with mom and the new Navy graduate, Brother Brad right after Christmas and I am so looking forward to seeing them!

Ryland's First Basketball Game
Ryland played his first basketball game this morning! Although he had no idea what he was doing... he managed to score the most points for his team! He is the tallest on his team and his coach expected him to rebound well but he just managed to hold his hands up and run back and forth but when he got a hold of the ball..swishhh! Go white boy!! LOL Sorry the pictures where a little blury...had something on my lense!! Have a great weekend!!!

A Quick trip to South Florida
We made a quick trip to South Florida this weekend to visit with family and friends and ended up coming a little sooner due to Cecil (Craig's grandfather) going into the hospital. Please keep Cecil,Craig, and his family in your prayers. Here are a few pictures of the kids and their cousin Abby at the Hazelwoods house. Though the trip wasn't as relaxing as we had hoped... we survived a weekend of pink eye and several almost ER injuries.....we enjoyed seeing all the family!
